English teachers

UCB offers conversational English classes, science and sustainability classes to local school children aged 6 to 12 through an after school program.

As a volunteer teacher, you will be teaching students who are eager to learn and succeed. With the help of our Balinese school coordinator and teachers, you will have the support and also an opportunity to assist Balinese students in gaining valuable skills that will boost their confidence and enhance their ability to continue education.

Our fee is AUD 750 per 4-week period. The fee covers your housing and local transportation to the program site and back each day.

VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE
Volunteers teach classes in the Tampaksiring region, 30min away from the centre of Ubud. You will start at 3pm and finish at 6 pm. Students will also be expected to devote a minimum of 1 hour per day to class preparation, including going over the curriculum and preparing class materials. There are no classes Friday – Sunday so your weekends are free.
